Welcome to MARELEC 2013

Welcome to MARELEC 2013, the 8th international conference on marine electromagnetics, to be held at the Helmut Schmidt University of the German Forces in Hamburg. The city of Hamburg is well known in Germany as “The Gateway to the World” with the second biggest harbour in Europe and a long lasting maritime history.

The MARELEC 2013 conference on marine electromagnetics offers a unique chance to meet delegates from academic, industry, experimental and military background. Cutting edge technologies and developments will be presented by leading scientists, engineers and academics in the various disciplines of geophysics, geotechnical engineering, oceanography and naval warfare. Presentations are supported by an exhibition and poster programme offering the opportunity to discuss and strengthen the international network of marine electromagnetics.
